O ruti

If you're looking for an active holiday, especially one that includes hiking and trekking, Brela is the perfect destination for you!

We've created a network of verified and accessible tourist hiking trails that connect a variety of attractions in Brela and the surrounding area. These trails are categorized into three groups based on the terrain: turquoise green - gravel and asphalt paths and promenades; red - hiking trails; yellow - mixed paths.

This way, you have a truly diverse selection for hiking exploration on the slopes of Biokovo. You can choose one of the suggested routes or create your own hiking trip from the available, verified, and always passable paths. Whatever you decide, unforgettable experiences, natural beauties, and unique views of the Adriatic blue await you.

Highlights
  1. The Brela Stone: The symbol of Brela, the smallest Adriatic island – a massive breccia rock, unique in its vegetation along the Croatian coast.
  2. The Pass at Nevistina Stina: Reward your efforts by enjoying the impressive mountain landscapes that surround you.
  3. Pakline Mountain Shelter: Reaching the Pakline mountain shelter offers you a chance to rest and refresh, preparing you for the continuation of your adventure.
  4. Panoramic Views: Along almost the entire route, you will be treated to stunning panoramic views of mountain peaks, valleys, and the Adriatic Sea.
  5. Šuplja Stina: This is a "natural eye" carved by nature into the Biokovo rocks. Through this rock, you can see the entire Brela and the coastline.
  6. Vruja Bay: Vruja Bay is a giant spring system featuring a deep underwater sinkhole about 60 meters in diameter, from which a massive amount of water emerges.
  7. French Road: An educational trail with interpretive panels that explain the construction and purpose of this truly special and valuable road. Additionally, the entire road serves as a beautiful viewpoint, offering views of Brela, the Makarska Riviera, and the islands!
