With three challenging ascents and low traffic intensity, this route offers the ideal combination of struggle and sense of achievement for all road cycling enthusiasts.
The first ascent is right at the beginning, from Podgora towards Gornji Igrane, after which you slowly descend towards Polje Jezero. There, before the next ascent, the one through the village of Vina towards Vrgorac, you can rest at the Kokorići ethno village. After Vrgorac, the route continues through flatter landscapes until the third and final ascent in the Vrgorac village of Kozica, after which, as a reward for all the effort, there is a spectacular descent towards Podgora with million-dollar views.
